The CQIB welcomes Karine Souffez to its board of directors

The Quebec Centre for Innovation in Biotechnology (CQIB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Karine Souffez, M.Sc. , to its Board of Directors, as a representative of the National Institute of Scientific Research (INRS).

With over 20 years of experience in partnerships, knowledge mobilization, and knowledge valorization, Karine Souffez has been the Director of the Strategic Partnerships and Innovation Support Service at INRS since 2021. Her career has also taken her to the University of British Columbia, where she helped create a unit dedicated to knowledge exchange, and to the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (Quebec National Institute of Public Health), where she founded the knowledge transfer sector. A political scientist by training, she has also worked at the Executive Council of Quebec and the National Assembly of Quebec.


Karine Souffez currently holds the position of Director of the Partnerships and Technology Transfer Office at INRS. Her experience in research related to development and strategic planning will allow her to play a key role on the board of directors.
