REQUIREMENTS FOR THE INCUBATION PROGRAM

  • The company must be active in the life sciences and/or health technology sector
  • The company must demonstrate that its activities result in technological development
  • The company must demonstrate that it has the right to use the technology
  • The management team must possess the necessary expertise
  • The business project must be commercially viable
  • The funding strategy must be realistic

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Admission to the incubation program hinges on obtaining adequate funding
  • The company must be incorporated in Canada but may have originated abroad
  • Industry Spin-offs are eligible
  • Joint ventures (joint technology projects) are eligible
  • CQIB’s support is fundamental to the company's development
